Wii Disney Infinity 1.0 (No Portal Included)
*Game requires the following accessories to use:
- At least one playable Infinity figure compatible with the 1.0 version
- An Infinity Portal compatible with the Wii
- One Nunchuck to attach to the Wii Remote
The game can NOT be played at all without these accessories. This product is intended to be sold to those who already own the required accessories.
With the above accessories, only one mode of the game can be played; a sandbox, building-oriented game called "toy box mode" where any compatible figure can be played as. In order to unlock levels, translucent figures called "playsets" must be placed on the portal. Playsets unlock new levels based on Disney and Pixar movie franchises, each with varying gameplay. Only playsets compatible with 1.0 can be used; 2.0 and 3.0 playsets will not work at all in this title. Each playset figure will display which version it is compatible with on its bottom.
It is very important to note that only characters from the movie franchise the playset is based on can be used. For example, in the playset based on the Pixar film "Toy Story," Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and Woody are the only character figures that can be played as.
Another type of optional figure that can be used in this title are "power discs" Power discs have a variety of effects, such as giving characters special abilities or unlocking new customization options in toy box mode. All types of power discs are completely optional.
Owning additional Infinity figures, play sets, and power discs is not required, but may enhance the player's overall experience with the game.
